How to Enjoy the Holidays at Home

Not sure what to do this holiday season and not really wanting to leave the comfort of your home? Movies, baking, holiday browsing, and arts and crafts are classics that are always enjoyed with a delicious cup of hot chocolate. These ideas will only need a few minutes in a store to get the supplies, then you can enjoy the rest of your day with a cozy blanket. Here are a few suggestions that you will enjoy doing with your loved ones.

To commence, The Holiday is a romance holiday movie that was made in 2006. It’s about two women, one from England, one from the U.S. They, who both go through a hurtful break up with their fiancés, switch houses for Christmas through a website. What follows is a story of romance and comedy. I would recommend this film for people who love movies that follow relationships and the hardships they can overcome. This is not everybody’s cup of tea though.

Home Alone is a go-to when winter is right around the corner. The McCallister family is on the verge of getting into the plane that leads them to Florida when they realize that Kevin has taken the wrong plane and is heading straight to New York. There he needs to escape not only his previous kidnappers but the luxury Hotel staff where he temporarily resides. These movies are perfect for watching with a sweet treat and warm clothes.

Speaking of sweet treats, Santa cookies are always appreciated when made, and this delicious recipe will have everyone who tries them talking! For these amazing sugar cookies you will need flour, baking powder, salt, sugar, butter, eggs, extracts, cooking spray, icings, candy, whipped topping. For the full recipe and instructions you can visit this website: santa-sugar-cookies.

Another very delicious treat: Reindeer brownies of course! You will need a boxed brownie mix, oil, eggs, water, mini pretzels, holiday candies, and melted chocolate. This recipe is easier and faster than you think! For a detailed description visit this site easy-rudolph-brownies.

You can do all this while browsing through web pages and online shopping for adorable Christmas merchandise like decorations, holiday sales on your favorite brands, and gifts.
